Proposals

Send and client acceptance

Send by link or email, what the client sees, click-to-accept or decline, expiry, revoke and the acceptance certificate.

Steps

  1. Send

Choose Send on an approved or unrestricted proposal. Pick the client contacts and send by email, or copy the link to send yourself. Set an expiry date if you want one.

  2. What the client sees

The client opens a link at app.feebeaver.com/p/ and sees the proposal as a web view that matches the PDF. They can download the PDF.

  3. Accept or decline

The client accepts or declines with a click. You are notified either way.

  4. Acceptance certificate

On acceptance, Feebeaver issues an acceptance certificate page recording who accepted, when, and the version hash.

  5. Expiry and revoke

A proposal past its expiry date can no longer be accepted. You can revoke a sent proposal at any time before acceptance.

Sent snapshots

Sending freezes an immutable, hashed snapshot and PDF. Later edits create a new version that must be sent again.

E-signature

Feebeaver records click-to-accept with a certificate. It does not integrate with e-signature providers today. If your firm needs a signed contract after acceptance, that is a separate step in your existing process.

Frequently asked questions

Does the client need an account?

No. The client opens the link, reads the proposal and accepts or declines.

Can we resend after changes?

Yes. Changes create a new version, which is sent again.

Is click-to-accept legally binding?

Whether an accepted proposal forms a binding agreement depends on its terms and the law that applies. Feebeaver records who accepted, when and which version. Have your standard terms reviewed by counsel.
