Proposal software for accounting and advisory firms
Engagement proposals for audit, tax, outsourced finance and advisory work: fixed fees, monthly retainers, hourly ranges and separately priced add-on services, with partner approval before the proposal goes out.
Who this is for
- CPA firms and accounting practices of 10 to 500 staff
- Outsourced CFO and client accounting services providers
- Tax, valuation and transaction advisory practices
- Firms where a partner signs off on fees
How these firms price work
Accounting fees mix a fixed fee for compliance work, a monthly retainer for outsourced finance, hourly ranges for advisory and add-ons such as a budget or a cash flow forecast. Feebeaver holds each as a fee structure, and bundles let you offer a package with a stated minimum monthly amount.
| Item | Basis | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Annual financial statements and tax return | Fixed fee | $9,800 |
| Monthly bookkeeping and close | Monthly retainer, 12 months | $2,400 per month |
| Quarterly advisory meetings | Fixed fee per quarter | $1,500 |
| Special projects | Hourly range, 20 to 40 hours | $4,000 to $8,000 |
| Cash flow forecast | Fixed fee, priced separately | $2,200 |
Sample figures. In Feebeaver each row is computed from a fee structure in your library, so the basis, rates and caps are set once by a principal and applied on every proposal.

Compared with general proposal tools
Proposal tools made for accountants exist and some include payment collection. Feebeaver does not take payments at launch. Where it is stronger is a fee library a partner controls, hourly ranges and minimums as first-class fee types, and approvals included on every plan.
- Fee logic built for services pricing, not a quantity times price table
- Approval rules on every plan; approvers never need a paid seat
- Editor, client view and PDF share one render path
- No send limits on either plan
Pricing for accounting and advisory
Professional is $29 and Firm is $49 per creator per month billed annually. Approvers are free, so partners and principals who review proposals do not need a seat. Approval rules are included on both plans. 14-day free trial, no card.
Accounting and advisory questions
Can we show an hourly range instead of a single figure?
Yes. Hourly ranges are a fee type, shown as a range on the row.
Can we price add-on services separately?
Yes. Give each add-on its own fee row and bundle the ones you usually sell together.
Can we set a minimum monthly amount on a retainer?
Yes. Optional minimum monthly amounts are supported on recurring fees.
Does Feebeaver collect payment?
Not at launch. Client payments are out of scope for the first release.
Can we reuse our engagement letter wording?
Yes. Keep standard wording as pages in the page library and include them in templates.
