Proposals

Set up approval rules

Define which proposals need internal approval, who approves, and how the review queue works.

Steps

  1. Open Approvals

From the workspace menu choose Approvals. You see your rules and the review queue.

  2. Create a rule

Give the rule a name and a condition, such as total fee over $50,000. Choose the approver or approver role.

  3. Activate it

Active rules apply to new proposals. Professional allows 3 active rules; Firm has no cap.

  4. Work the queue

Approvers see proposals waiting for them, with customer, creator and fee. They open the proposal read-only and approve or send it back with a note.

  5. Record

Every approval and send-back is recorded in the audit log against the proposal version.

What happens after approval

The creator is notified and can send. The approval is recorded against the version that was approved.

Approvers are free

Approvers and reviewers do not need a creator seat. Invite partners as approvers from Users.
